NCRoofers.com specializes in hard-surface roofing ... our roofing medium will also add considerable visual weight so that your home won't "float". A large home with varied pitches can appear a bit unfinished if the roof is not significant ... but a covering of clay, concrete or slate tiles is quite significant!

The extra beauty combined with durability not only adds to the home's value … these qualities also add immeasurably to the home's beauty.

The last puzzle piece!

'The Mission' is a fine example of new mission style concrete tile applicationThis new Charlotte home perfectly depicts the need for a significant roof to hold the entire dwelling together. The mixed color barrel tiles perfectly delineates and accentuates the many varied pitches on the roofs shown. The tile flowing from one surface to another adds substance, interest and completeness. The feeling of weight firmly grounds the structure and, of course, protects everything beneath. (click for new view)
The perfect blend of old and new: a new custom home covered in historic, dull green, interlocking clay tile that was rescued from the Raleigh Red Cross Building! This unique stone dwelling is loaded with unique angles and architectural surprises!Right: this photo represents a perfect blend; a new custom designed home covered in historic dull green, interlocking clay tile that was rescued from the Raleigh Red Cross Building.

That's the fun of installing a new rooftop; by the time the roof is ready for tile application, you will have a pretty good idea of what the home will look like. The foundation has outlined the lower plans; walls are up; windows and doors are delineated; a chimney has been installed; the sub-roofing is finished; and, at this point the home looks and is vulnerable.

The top is the last puzzle piece that both protects the entire dwelling (including the contents) and also gives the complete structure visual finality - we like that.

The application of that last puzzle piece might include copper gutters or dormers; there may also be skylights, perhaps a chimney pot has been chosen or other handsome accessory necessities may appear.

It should be noted that after the installation of a hard-surface rooftop ... ancillary contractors should not walk about. This work should be done before the application of tile.
